Jeffery M. Burns

Construction Manager

Mr. Burns attended Temple University in Philadelphia, majoring in Architectural Design and Engineering. Following the conclusion of his formal education, Mr. Burns was employed by Barney Design + Construction, Inc., of Columbus, Ohio in 1978. His talents and abilities in design/build construction earned him numerous promotions. Within a year, he achieved the level of project superintendent and simultaneously coordinated a number of projects with values exceeding $4,000,000.00.

In 1982 he was moved to Colorado Springs by Barney, Inc., were he was responsible for establishing the firm's construction presence prior to the relocation of the entire company.
Appointed Vice President of Construction, Mr. Burns was responsible for all field operations of the company. While striving to build the firm as one of Colorado Springs' largest, Mr. Burns' staff included over 60 field employees with an annual construction volume in excess of $14,000,000.00.

Quickly, earning a reputation for quality, expedience and dependability, the Company began to compete in the nationwide construction market. In 1984, Mr. Burns was promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of
Barney, Inc. and relocated to Ohio. Leading up to 1986, Mr. Burns' construction division had built approximately 500,000 square feet of retail space,100,000 square feet of office space and 250,000 square feet of hotel accommodations.

Mr. Burns formed Peak Professional Contractors in May of 1986. Guiding his new company through the recession years of the late 1980’s, Peak Professional Contractors quickly gained a reputation for quality work. Mr. Burns currently holds two active general contractors licenses in Colorado and Florida.

Jeff is married with three children and currently resides in Miramar Beach, Florida.
