The Omni Sports Arena and Omni International Hotel, office, retail, mixed-use development is located in the heart of Atlanta's central business district. The development is a collaboration between a private development company, the City of Atlanta, and Fulton County.

The hotel, office, and retail components are owned and financed by a private development company, the parking decks are owned and financed by City of Atlanta and the sports arena is owned and financed by the Stadium Authority with county bonds.

The project is comprised of a 17,800 seat multipurpose sports arena, 400,000 square feet of office space, 250,000 square feet of retail space, a 500 room hotel and a 2000 space parking deck. The office, hotel, and retail areas are positioned around a 30,000 square foot atrium with an ice rink at the ground level. The structural system of the entire complex is a combination of cast in place reinforced concrete and structural steel, clad with limestone. The floor to ceiling fenestration on the exterior is solar gray, double insulated glazing and the glazing in the atrium is clear.

The sports arena is designed with weathering steel panels on the façade with insulated glazing in the atrium supported with steel trusses. The layout of the sports arena seating creating spatial voids at the corners of the building where the structural system cantilevers up to 150 feet.
